Covid-19__Nobel laureates as Nazi scientists

Not very long ago some British politicians compared Nobel laureates to Nazi criminals:

But a recent and interesting article in the link below by Mark Carney, former Governor of the bank of England also praises scientific expertise:

And three days ago one could read the following statement in the UNICEF website:

A frase que dá título a este post saiu em tempos da boca da senhora Isabel Vaz, que esteve à frente da empresa “Espirito Santo Saúde”, e que agora é Presidente da Comissão Executiva do Grupo Luz Saúde e que no passado sábado, entrevistada pelo Expresso, se permitiu de uma forma despudorada (leia-se canalha), criticar a resposta dos hospitais públicos à crise do Covid-19.

A sorte dela é viver num país de cobardes e não na Espanha, onde todos os hospitais privados foram requisitados pelo Governo daquele país, ao contrário do que sucedeu aqui, onde um cobarde Governo preferiu deixar que os hospitais privados continuassem descansadinhos na sua vidinha, a fazer operações estéticas e a meter botox nas socialites ou a “irem de férias cá dentro” com vencimento pago pelos contribuintes. 

E como se isso já não fosse suficientemente mau, agora ainda temos que aturar as pérolas da Drª Vaz, essa grande amiga do Dr. Ricardo Salgado, quem em Março de 2016, já depois do BES ter falido de forma clamorosa, ainda continuava a falar do desgraçado (sacaninha) dono disto tudo, como "um homem com visão e com ideias", o mesmo visionário idiota que enganou e desgraçou a vida a milhares de Portugueses   e que o Tribunal da Relação não teve dúvidas em sentenciar como responsável  https://observador.pt/2019/05/08/ricardo-salgado-manifestou-elevadissimo-grau-de-irresponsabilidade-na-gestao-do-bes/

A segunda seca mais severa em 1200 anos

O link acima diz respeito a um artigo publicado na semana passada onde se fala de uma seca nos EUA, tão grave que não tem paralelo nos últimos 1200 anos. Neste contexto e se agora se ouve a ONU dizer que o COVID-19 pode provocar uma fome de “proporções bíblicas” imagine-se então o que será quando uma futura e muito provável nova pandemia se juntar a uma seca ainda mais severa que provoque elevados danos na agricultura !

Still following the post above about an article recently published on The Economist, on superior races and pornographic food contests its worth mentioning another important article in the same weekly newspaper. Entitled "Covid dries up a cash cow" it concerns the fact that since the European economy got frozen by Covid the African immigrants in Europe are stoping their remittances into their relatives living in Africa. 

Officially recorded official remittances worth 46 billion USD in 2018 and undeclared remittances amount to around 16-35 billion USD a year. According to The Economist companies that handle remittances reported decreases by 80% and even 90%. And that fact will further aggravate the hunger pandemic mentioned in the post in the link above. P.S – Concerning this population explosion I remember that in May of 2018 I suggested that rich countries should pay a birth tax because every new baby in those countries is just another heavy polluter:

“Your polytunnel needs you: Not enough Britons are responding to a patriotic appeal…”

The title of this post goes by the title of an article in the last number of “The Economist”. It concerns the fact that UK agriculture has a shortage of 70.000 workers and the fact that Englishmen (and Irish, Scots and Welsh) are not interested in the Government patriotic campaign “Pick for Britain”. As consequence planes loaded with Romanian workers are bringing the most needed farm workers.

Similarly, in USA 400.000 undocumented workers are essential so agriculture in California can produce half of the fruits and vegetables consumed in that country. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/31/us-coronavirus-outbreak-california-farm-workers still nobody has ever heard the racist Donal Trump (who wanted immigrants from Norway) say that they should go home because unemployed hard-working Americans would love to work on those farms ! On the contrary, they are now viewed as essentials! 

Its most ironic how the so-called superior races need the help of inferior races to have food on their table !

Os médicos que efectivamente nasceram para serem médicos

O jornal Público continha ontem uma reportagem sobre o hospital com o maior número de doentes com covid-19 do país, o hospital São João do Porto, e a parte final da reportagem encerrou-se com uma pergunta do jornalista a um jovem médico de pouco mais de 30 anos:

“Não tem sido pressão a mais?” 

“Nem pensar. Um médico nasceu para isto. Mal de nós se não estivéssemos à altura.”

No início da pandemia do Covid-19, mais precisamente em 16 de Março, ainda antes de ser decretado o estado de emergência, produzi um post que terminava com uma referência a médicos do tipo “natural born doctors”

Exactamente como sucede com o tal médico acima referido, que trabalha no hospital S. João, e que é altamente improvável que tenha beneficiado de esquemas manhosos para conseguir entrar num curso público de medicina, como em má hora sucedeu com aqueles merdosos referidos no post abaixo e que muito provavelmente usarão na profissão médica a mesma falta de ética que evidenciaram no acesso ao curso de medicina, obtendo de forma ilegal, elevadas médias que lhes permitiram ultrapassar no acesso ao ensino superior, outros alunos com médias inferiores, mas que efectivamente nasceram para ser médicos https://pacheco-torgal.blogspot.com/2019/11/vergonhosa-impunidade-no-acesso-ao.html
