The title of this post goes by the title of an article
in the last number of “The Economist”. It concerns the fact that UK agriculture
has a shortage of 70.000 workers and the fact that Englishmen (and Irish, Scots
and Welsh) are not interested in the Government patriotic campaign “Pick for Britain”.
As consequence planes loaded with Romanian workers are bringing the most needed
farm workers.
Similarly, in USA 400.000 undocumented workers are
essential so agriculture in California can produce half of the fruits and
vegetables consumed in that country. https://www.theguardian.com/world/2020/mar/31/us-coronavirus-outbreak-california-farm-workers still nobody has ever heard the racist Donal Trump (who wanted
immigrants from Norway) say that they should go home because unemployed
hard-working Americans would love to work on those farms ! On the contrary, they are now viewed
as essentials!
Its most ironic
how the so-called superior races need the help of inferior races to have food
on their table !
P.S - Still concerning food take a look into the USA League of Eating Contests and
now into the article published yesterday on the Washington Post that
speaks about a hunger pandemic !
