It appears as though we are witnessing a moment that could be considered apocalyptic, given the unexpected stance of The Economist, a traditionally right-wing publication. Just two months ago, a proposal was made to slash CEOs' paychecks by a staggering 50% (refer to the link above).
In a surprising turn of events, the latest issue of the same publication features an article advocating for even more severe retribution against CEOs: "The most striking change...the rise of the “clawback”.
