Another nail in the coffin of the flawed Clarivate Analytics list of "top" scientists



Still following the post above check the paper below by researchers of Norway and Denmark:
"In the “whole count” methodology applied by Clarivate Analytics, each author gets full credit of the papers regardless of the number of additional co-authors. The study shows that the ranking list would look very different using an alternative fractionalised methodology"

PS - Another glaring testament to the deficiency in rigor within Clarivate's list of "top" scientists is the stark contrast in Nobel Prize winners. A mere two dozen laureates are featured, paling in comparison to the nearly 100 Nobel Prize winners found on Stanford University's own ranking of top scientists
