“This paper investigates the impact of green technology innovations on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions based on a data panel covering 71 economies…study provides ample evidence that income levels drive the non-linear nexus between green technology innovations and CO2 emissions. We find that the effect of green technology innovations exists a single threshold effect with regard to the income level. To be specific, the effect of green technology innovations on reducing CO2 emissions is more significant for the economies whose income level surpass 34,694 US dollars (per capita)"
