Just a few months ago a newspaper from The Netherlands (link above) complained about the fact that workers in the South of Europe have a lot of free time and also that poor workers in The Netherlands had one of the highest workloads in the world, working almost like slaves. Strangely the Eurostat brings strange numbers (image below) that show a very different pattern showing that in The Netherlands they work less than the European average. Also in what concerns heavy workloads, Turkey workers are the champions. So probably the Dutch press should badmouth only the countries that on average work less than 36.2 hours per week (the european average), like Denmark, Germany and The Netherlands !
