Still following on the post above check in
the link below the last warning by scientists made today https://academic.oup.com/bioscience/advance-article/doi/10.1093/biosci/biz088/5610806
Do scientists really believe that politicians (and people) really care about
warnings ? Not the ones commented here https://pacheco-torgal.blogspot.com/2019/10/scientists-endorse-extinction-rebellion.html What if instead of making warning after warning scientists would go on strike instead even if it was only for one day ?
Furthermore, just making
warnings makes people confuse because more than warnings they need advice on
how to start helping. Advices like the ten below of the David Suzuki
Foundation, as simple and very effective ways to help conserve nature and
improve our quality of life:
· Reduce
home energy use by 10%
· Choose
energy-efficient homes & appliances
· Don't
use pesticides
· Eat meat-free meals one day a week
· Buy
locally grown and produced food
· Choose
a fuel-efficient vehicle
· Walk, bike, carpool or take transit
· Choose
a home close to work or school
· Support
alternative transportation
· Learn
more and share with others
