Translation Plagiarism and Obfuscated Plagiarism

https://pacheco-torgal.blogspot.com/2020/05/creation-of-moral-panic-self-plagiarism.html

Still following the post above check below a recent chapter about a subtle type of plagiarism, "translation plagiarism, which occurs when the work of one author is republished in a different language with authorship credit taken by someone else"

Also interesting is the problem of Obfuscated Plagiarism that uses online paraphrasing tools to evade plagiarism detection software https://deepblue.lib.umich.edu/handle/2027.42/152346

So let´s hope that the new software that Microsoft is planning to roll out can detect both cases:
“...a plagiarism checking tool ...powered by...AI/Machine Learning code....If a text block longer than 40 words is found to be an exact match for something else online, the text will be formatted as a block quote, automatically” https://www.outsecure.com/2020/07/14/microsoft-will-add-plagiarism-checker-to-word-program/
